M Family Foundation appoints Keisha Graham to its Board of Directors
M Family Foundation, a not-for-profit organization founded to promote early detection of, educate the community on and assist families impacted by Ovarian or Pediatric Cancer, today announced the appointment of Keisha Graham as an independent member of its Board of Directors for a five-year term.
Graham brings the M Family Foundation more than 20 years of experience in business operations, media, communications, marketing and legal functions. As Director of Legal and Compliance for iRemedy Healthcare Companies, Inc., a Florida-based healthcare technology and product distribution company, she is charged with the development, implementation and oversight of all activities related to iRemedy’s adherence to the laws, regulations and policies that govern its business. Previously, Graham served as a vital member of the commercial litigation team at Gray Robinson, P.A., a full service corporate law firm with 300 attorneys and legal consultants spanning 13 offices across the State of Florida, assisting with preparation of mediation, depositions, hearings, and trials. She also spent seven years with one of South Florida’s growing law firms, where she was responsible for client relations and billing services. Graham began her career as a field correspondent with Miami Today, covering business, entertainment and local social events for the leading Miami Dade County daily business publication.
Commenting on her appointment, Kelly McCarthy, co-Founder of M Family Foundation, noted, “As our foundation continues to grow and raise needed awareness and funding to support our mission, it is incumbent on our leadership team to ensure that we expand and enhance our governance team with the addition of highly qualified professionals who share our passion and commitment to fund Ovarian and Pediatric Cancer research, education and families in need. We are delighted to welcome Keisha to our Board and believe her proven skillset is an ideal complement to that of our other directors and further strengthens our ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many impacted by these life-threatening diseases.”
