In January, we introduced you to Cali, a delightful and humorous 6-year-old girl from West Palm Beach, bravely battling against DIPG. Throughout the year, we’ve shared updates on her journey and the precious moments we could provide— from a heartwarming balloon delivery for her birthday to fulfilling her lifelong dream of making a snow angel. In a touching gesture, we supported Cali’s family during their stay in Orlando, where they connected with two other DIPG warriors, including our beloved Traviana.
As Cali’s prognosis shifted, and time became more precious, her family organized a unique half birthday celebration. The Eli the Brave Fund at M Family Foundation, contributed to the festivities by bringing an ice cream truck to the event. Though we bid a tearful farewell to this sweet girl, Cali’s memory remains a poignant reminder of the ongoing battle against childhood cancer. Her legacy fuels our determination to continue this fight and reinforces our commitment to expanding our efforts so that more families can create lasting memories together. Our heartfelt love goes out to Cali’s family, and we extend our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
